Creating an online presence to increase clientele!
Creating a new online presence with a new site that allows clients to easily discover their needs and receive quick quotes without hassle!
The client
Sealmax is a small local business specialising in trade services such as waterproofing and painting. This client has had no online presence in the past and wanted a to create a simple and clean website that would allow future clients to identify their needs whether commercial or residential and have quick access to contact for quotes on services.

User Research
Sample was taken from 15 participants

Pain points
-
No Current Social or Online Presence - With an online presence, Gaining new clientele would increase substantially
-
No existing forms - The client is currently experiencing difficulty with managing quotes for clients, with an online form, it would become easier for the client to track upcoming and exisiting jobs
-
New users are not informed on certain products and services when it comes to deciding on what's right for them.
Affinity Map
By creating an affinity map, I am able to lay all ideas, strengths and weakness on the table to be able to define a strong goal for the client and what is needed to improve clientele through an online presence.

Key Takeaways
Moving forward additional testing and iterations will continue as this is currently an ongoing project, however, these are the key takeaways I have currently:
-
Understanding user needs is critical. Identifying pain points, strengths and user needs will always lead the designs to improve efficiency and meet user needs.
-
Creating a visually appealing site is just as important as user research! Creating a striking and memorable site will increase user engagement.
-
Even though the website is live, user testing and iterations will continue to be conducted to ensure an efficient user journey, meeting the needs of the client and clientele.
